The Stone Island_Prototype Research_Series was presented through an artistic and thermosensitive installation, during Milan Design week 2023. The jackets feature garments in fabrics and/or treatments born from research and experimentation processes that have not yet been industrialized. Series 07 unveils a special thermochromic technology. The nylon canvas fabric, coated with a reactive helical-shaped cholesteric liquid crystals ink, reveals a vast spectrum of chromatic points, shown by the installation itself and a video projection of macro liquid crystals reacting. The presentation was opened by a dj set event performed by C2C.
